Charlotte, NC - Junior midfielder Aidan Kirkbride of the Charlotte 49ers nationally-ranked men's soccer team was named to College Soccer News' and Soccer America's National Teams of the Week for his performance in the 49ers come-from-behind 2-1 double overtime win over Denver last Saturday.

Kirkbride scored both of Charlotte's goals in the victory. He scored the game-tying goal with four seconds left in regulation. Then, he scored the game-winning goal in the 104^th minute.

This marked the second time of his career that he has scored two goals in a game. He scored both of Charlotte's goals in their 2-1 win over Saint Louis last November.

Kirkbride and the rest of the 49ers men's soccer team returns to action when they host 14^th ranked Coastal Carolina at Transamerica Field, Monday, August 27 at 7 pm.
