Charlotte's Thursday night baseball game, an Atlantic 10 series-opener against St. Bonaventure, has been postponed due to an emergency power outage. Officials at Duke Energy informed the 49ers that issues with switches at the Harrisburg substation have necessitated a 5 p.m. outage on campus and the surrounding community, which will make operating the baseball facility impossible for a night game.

The two teams agreed to play a Friday doubleheader at 3 p.m. with the hopes that no additional outages would be necessary.

Charlotte's planned Senior Day ceremony, originally slated for the Friday pregame period, will be moved to a pregame ceremony before Saturday's game, still scheduled for 2 p.m.
