The 49ers had nine hits and sent 14 men to the plate in the fourth. Basen had two hits in the inning, an RBI single in his first at bat, and a bases-loaded triple to drive in three more in his second trip to the plate. Basen collected four hits in the game and drove home five runs, tying career highs in both categories. He finished the weekend 8-for-12, with two doubles, two triples and an astounding 12 RBI in the series. He leads Charlotte with 40 RBI this season.

Charlotte scored all 15 runs in the first four innings.
