Tryouts
Tryouts will be held once in the spring and fall. If you are unable to attend tryouts, video submissions are accepted. Email Coach Danielle Terrell (charlotte49ersgolddusters@gmail.com) for video submission deadlines. Dancers chosen during the spring tryouts will represent the Charlotte 49ers and compete at summer camp in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Competition
The 49ers Gold Dusters Dance Team competes at the NDA Collegiate Nationals. Nationals are held in April in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Gold Duster's are currently ranked 2nd in Hip Hop and 7th in the Open Category.
Team Requirements
* Attend NDA summer camp
* Attend mandatory weekly practices
* Perform at home Men's and Women's Basketball games.
* Represent and support Charlotte 49ers athletics.
* Compete in NDA nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida

Clinic
The Charlotte 49ers host Jr. Gold Dusters Days for young dancers. The days include a dance clinic, halftime performance, ticket to a women's basketball game and a commemorative t-shirt. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and snack. Check back for information on the 2012-13 Jr. Gold Duster Days.
