2014-15 - Enjoyed one of the best games of his career with three three-point field goals off the bench for a career-high nine points in the 49ers season-opening win at Elon (November 16)...Big block at the end of the first overtime which preserved the tie and sent the game into the second overtime in the 49ers victory over Penn State (November 20)...Blocked a dunk attempt by Miami’s seven-foot center Tonye Jekiri in the first half of the November 25th meeting...Knocked down a three-point basket on his only shot in the 49ers win over College of Charleston (December 16)...Gave the 49ers a spark off the bench with five first half points against Appalachian State (December 18)...Solid performance off the bench with a career-high tying nine points on three three-point field goals and also recorded his first career steal at Middle Tennessee (January 24)...Recorded the 49ers final basket against Southern Miss (February 21) with a dunk with four seconds on the clock.
2013-14 - Saw action in 15 games...Scored his first two career points when he knocked down two free throws in the second half of the Florida State game (December 17)...Saw his first action at Charlotte in the 49ers season opening win over ETSU (November 8)...Grabbed his first two career rebounds against Kansas State (November 21)...Recorded his first career assist against USC Upstate (December 21).
At Apalachee High: Ranked the fifth-best recruit in the state of Georgia and the 33rd -ranked power forward in the nation by ESPN.com....Earned first-team All-Northeast Georgia honors as a senior, averaged 16.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game...Earned second-team All-Northeast Georgia honors as a junior...As a senior, Blakely, who was a three-year starter, led Apalachee to a 17-10 record and a return trip to the 5A state playoffs after a four-year absence...Scored in double-figures in all 27 games and he led his team in scoring 23 times as a senior...In the final seven games of his senior season, he averaged 19.1 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game...Recorded 18 double-doubles and had 14 games with five or more blocked shots as a senior...Not only does he excel on the court but in the classroom as well since he earned Apalachee High School Scholar-Athlete honors....Finished his career with 1,100 points, 894 rebounds and a school-record 397 blocks...Father, Anthony, played at Mississippi State in the 1980s and then he played professional basketball for 13 years.
