Signed with the 49ers on Feb. 1, 2012 as a member of the 49ers first-ever recruiting class.  Was the first signee in school history.  His National Letter of Intent was received via fax with a 7:02 timestamp on Wednesday morning, Feb. 1.

2013 Indoor Track & Field: Finished third in the high jump at the Atlantic 10 Championships with a leap of 6’8.25 which was the second-best performance on the team during the season. 

At Topsail:

An all-conference and all-Area selection who was also a two-time state track and field high jump champion (6'9) .. he  helped Bryan Davis-coached Topsail High to an 8-4 record and the Pender County title as a senior ... Averaged 15.5 yards per catch as a wideout who saw time at quarterback and running back, producing over 600 total yards ... Was a defensive back on the opposite side of the ball for the Pirates ... a four-year varsity football player ... Named ECC Track and Field Player of the Year.
