The Charles Hayward Practice Court and Training Center. Made possible by the gifts from Gene & Vickie Johnson, Dale Halton and Fred Wagner and the Dee & Rick Ray Foundation. The donors remember the sterling example of faith and fortitude that Charles demonstrated during his life. At the time, Charles was the highest rated basketball recruit ever to attend UNC Charlotte. His fight with leukemia was a lasting and inspiring challenge to all of us.
